Innovation & Tradition from British Bathroom Companies

Innovation & Tradition from British Bathroom Companies

I update a lot of bathroom and kitchens in my line of work. And nobody does bathrooms better then the Brits. Last week on BlogTourNYC I had the pleasure of seeing what’s new…and classic… from two very well known Bathroom manufacturers at the AD Design Show 2013.

First the new: Victoria and Albert with both classic and modern freestanding sculptural bathtubs; V&A creates the bathtub and basin as art.

Made out of  Volcanic Limestone, these baths and basins are a blend of volcanic limestone with high performance resins and come with a 25 year warranty. Naturally white, each item is individually hand-finished by craftsmen. And least you think that these beautiful baths are not comfortable, think again. I tried them out!

Yes that's me, always making sure my client is comfortable!

And then there is Barber Wilson & Co. A family owned business since 1898, Barber Wilson’s motto is “Making taps that don’t come back for customers who do”…and yes, their quality is unsurpassed. So much so that they hold the Royal Warrant By Appointment to H.M. the Queen.

These are a mark of recognition of those who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to the Households of HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh or HRH The Prince of Wales. Royal Warrants have always been regarded as demonstrating service, quality and excellence, and are highly prized.

Barber Wilson’s plumbing fixtures feel good in the hand, are of the finest quality and will last you a lifetime! What could be better then that when going to build or remodel your bath?
