I don’t know if it’s the influence of Mad Men and the revival of Mid Century Furniture, or not, but at home bars are hot…and so are pretty cocktails!

While I’m not a big fan of hard liquor, some of the frothy and prettily colored drinks are appealing. And when entertaining, being able to offer guests an alternative to wine is something new, for us here in Sonoma County. From simple bars set up on a tray that can move with you,

And, bars are not just for hard liquor either. Think kids parties with lemonade, fruit soda’s and a mixer for Mom all combined on an outdoor bar table for a party. Bars can be found on:
- Sideboards & Side Tables
- On Trays to Carry Around
- In Cabinets or Armoires
- On Rolling Carts
- Indoors & Out

Love the bars you have displayed for your viewers–
I, like you am not a lover of hard liquior however do keep a partially stocked bar for guests and it is located in my pantry–just minor offerings but just enough to get me through–most of our guests do prefer wine so I try and keep a generous supply stocked–
Probably this feature in a home is making a comeback–possibly by the influence and interest in Mad Men–interesting how different things become hot items again–great for interior design!!!
