It’s fall, the leaves are turning, days are getting shorter, and the weather is getting colder. Time to add warmth, color, texture and interest to your home for the Fall/Winter season. The quickest way…add throws to cozy up a comfy seating space at home!
Placing these cozy throws on chairs and sofas not only helps your space look inviting, they are also functional in adding warmth as we all keep our thermostats lower then we once did. Some of the best throws this season are:
- the Italian wool and alpaca chunky throw from Restoration Hardware. In wonderfully warm greige neutrals, this throw can fit in with almost any design style!
- The Luxury Plush Throws from Restoration Hardware for a sensual delight at an affordable price!
- The wonderful Pendleton Stripe blanket for a more casual or rustic space.
- For a lux feel the fabulous cashmere throws in bright colors from William Sonoma
- Beautiful quilts, either family heirlooms or these colorful and fun quilts from Anthropologie
- A great gift for the upcoming seasons, the yellow/grey Pendleton roll with leather carrier, also from Anthropologie.
- Luscious and yummy faux fur throws that add instant warmth and richness to any room! The best true faux I’ve found are from Restoration Hardware, and also faux fur in beautiful accent colors, from Z Gallery.
- And, last, continuing in the vein of luxury, the Fleece Flounce Throw from Anthropologie in a wonderful teal color.
Do you use throws in your home seasonally? Which are your favorites? Leave me a comment, I’d love to know, they are a Little Bit of Beauty™ for sure, Cheers!

I love that alpaca throw and the one from Anthropologie with the case! I actually love throws year round- even though LA obviously has a great climate I get cold very easily so I always have at least one or two stowed away in my living room or near my bed. I just bought a heated throw that I love (It’s been very cold in my apartment lately!). Come to think of it every throw I have is a different color and fabric, but I love them all. I like that they’re so pretty and decorative, practical, and easy to store because they roll up smaller than a normal blanket.
