But I don’t. Here in Sonoma County it seems that everyone hikes and camps. When I met my husband on match.com, one of the first things that caught my eye was the fact that he said, “…yes I do love to hike but at the end of the day I want a comfortable bed and warm shower.” Sigh…yup, right up my alley. However, being a pinterest lover I’ve seen a few “campers” that are just my style…high style! So one day I posted a picture of the teardrop camper on my Facebook biz page. OMG! I couldn’t believe the response, the shares and the “likes”. So it made me explore this world of camping in high style a bit further.

WOW, I couldn’t believe how far camping has come since I was a girl and camping was America’s past time. I had never really understood the allure.

But these days many of the campers from teardrops to renovated airstreams are hip and very well designed. Talk about making a small space functional. And, many of them, like the one below, are equipped with all the comforts of home. I can see the draw.

At the end of the day campers can take you were you might not otherwise go. And yet…this girl is still not a camper! BUT, I could see using some of these elegantly styled campers as home offices, guest rooms, pool houses etc.
