Cement in Interior Design -Bohemian Stoneworks

I love using cement in interior design projects, and the best resource I’ve found is Bohemian Stoneworks. Located right here in Sebastopol CA where I live, Patrick Miller the owner has experimented with, and is experienced in, a wide range of products that appeal to us designers, in over 121 colors, or made to match a color we provide.

A few of his products range from:

  • Floors, and floor tiles. I’m using his floor tiles for the entry of my latest project. The Manika Jewelry Store to open in a week in the Palace Hotel in Downtown San Francisco.

  • Furniture such as tables, benches, chairs and the like. This table is from a project I completed out at the coast in Bodega Bay.

  •  Kitchen and Bathroom counter tops with inset metal sinks or one form counter/sink.

  • Fireplace surrounds.

  • And water fountains that stand out in beautifully landscaped gardens

All in all…Cement isn’t what it used to be, and Patrick Miller at Bohemian Stoneworks has raised it to an art form! And, like Artefacts Design & Salvage, Bohemian Stonework is an important resource for all my projects.

Stay tuned for more posts on the opening of the new Manika Jewelry Store over the next couple of months. And tell me, what do you think, would you use cement as a finish in your space?
