What are some of the elements that make up a great outdoor space? Here are just a few:
- an inviting seating space, could be pillows, chair, sofa or daybed-read to lounge in
- a table to hold drinks, a book and some flowers, don’t you think?
- a way to add shade if needed, like an umbrella or overhang
- adequate lighting for night time enjoyment
- if there is space-a place to cook outdoors, from a small balcony grill to a full on outdoor kitchen

- a place to enjoy food, from a small table for two to dining alfresco for 24
- the serenity of greens, from vertical gardens or small pots on a balcony to extensive garden rooms where there is room
- a place to rest your eye such as a water feature, piece of art, fireplace or statue
- perhaps a way to pipe in music for your listening pleasure?
- outdoor showers to full baths…more on that later!
