An Invitation to Experience the Wonders of the Loire-image via Calliespondence
Back in September many of you followed me on my adventures to Geneva Switzerland for business, and over to the Loire where I experienced the magical splendor of the French Countryside with insider Jonathan Robinson. As I continued to post of my experience: visits to world famous chateaux, fabulous local flea markets called brocantes filled with french antiques and accessories, and the delight of local cuisine and wines…plus my magical stay at the restored 19th century water-mill, Moulin Bregeon; many expressed an interest in a trip like this as well. So, here it is. The first ever trip designed for…Designers and Design Lovers. Scheduled right after the annual Maison & Objet fair in Paris (September 7th-11th), making it easy to extend your trip another week perhaps? With Jonathan’s local insight and artistic eye, as well as the years of restoring his water mill and now his small village, you will get entry into places not normally open to tourists. Watch old world artisans forge metal into ornate french iron work, tour private chateau and rummage through local barns and attics to find hidden away antiques and accessories. And, of course…stay at the charming Moulin Bregeon with fellow designers and friends. The actual invitation will be up on my site through May. Reservations are required by the end of May, although RSVP’s would be appreciated earlier. We would like to have no more then 10 people to keep it as intimate as possible, so of course, first come and so on.
