Farmhouse Tables-via Santa Rosa Interior Design

Touch of Tangerine-Pantone’s Color for 2012

Every year Pantone selects a color for the year. This year it is Tangerine Tango.

“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it. Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®.

A mix of yellow and red, tangerine is a happy and joy filled color as I stated when I blogged about orange last year. Definitely a stimulating color I like it best as a pop accent in a room or in your wardrobe. It is a color that stands out and one you can’t miss!

Decorating with Maps-via Napa Interior Design

This past weekend I helped one of my clients get settled into their new home. Hanging pictures, settling furniture, debating the placement of all important accessories. But, by far, the most fun was hanging wallpaper map in their ten year old son’s room! Continue reading “Decorating with Maps-via Napa Interior Design” »
