Dwell With Dignity-via Santa Rosa Interior Design

Dwell With Dignity is interior design with heart. Their mission is to help families escape poverty and homelessness through beauty and design. One household at a time. Here is their thought process:
If we can change a person’s surroundings, we can change their outlook on life. Exposing children (especially) to a nurturing home environment, that includes good design and art, can inspire a standard of living that will carry-over to future generations. Exposing parents to this same environment will allow them to see the positive impact it has on their family; inspiring them to maintain a standard of living they can be proud of and thrive in.

DIFFA Dining by Design SF 2011 with the Academy of Art University

I had the good fortune to be able to attend DIFFA’s Dining by Design 2011 at the San Francisco Design Center with a seat at the wonderful table of the Academy of Art University. Held this year on the 17th of November, it was a kaleidoscope of color, fun, beautiful tables, fabulous people, good food and all for a great cause.

For me, charity is practical. It’s sometimes easy, more often inconvenient, but always necessary. It’s the ability to use one’s position of influence, relative wealth and power to affect lives for the better. charity is singular and achievable.
