People often ask me why I love talking about beauty. To me, there’s no doubt that beauty uplifts your spirit and your mood! It can stop you in its tracks and allows you, to relax, breathe, and re-balance your self in that moment. It is inspirational!

Gaudi is Personal to Me

Gaudi is personal to me…Growing up in Barcelona from age 7 to almost 10, I was fortunate to see how his work influenced the face of architecture in Barcelona. To this day I distinctly remember walking past these fantastical buildings daily, or visiting these famous landmarks with my family.

Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926), is one of the greatest architectural figures of the late 19th,early 20th Century and particularly so in the history of Spanish, and Catalan, architecture. Sonoma County-Fall!

I LOVE Fall! I think it’s my favorite season. Right now out my back door nature is putting on a show that makes my eyes happy, filling them with the beauty of fall here in Sonoma County.
Originally from New York I could have sworn there was no prettier place on earth then Fall on the east coast. But over the last 9 years of life here in Paradise I see more and more of the abundance of Mother Nature in so many forms, and I’ve got to say, our falls are magnificent. Iceland Volcano Eruption & Mother Nature-via Santa Rosa

The devastating volcanic eruption(s) in Iceland which began last month and continue to this day are affecting the world at large. Because they are erupting underneath glaciers, they are not only sending smoke and ash into the air, but also melting the ice and causing flooding. All this brings new meaning to the phrase…”Don’t mess with Mother Nature”. And like a woman, she is beautiful in her wrath.
