HUGO

I LOVED the movie Hugo. Even though at this point we know it didn’t win best picture of the year at the Oscars, for me it was #1.

In this time of global upheaval I found it refreshing to see this beautiful, breathtaking and old fashioned fairytale. A story that appeals to the child with in us all, with enough interesting metaphor to capture the adult. And the stunning 3 D visuals of Paris and beyond were a feast for my eyes! I’m so happy I saw it at the theater in full magical 3D splendor.

Farmhouse Tables-via Santa Rosa Interior Design

What is it about old farmhouse tables that seems to have such allure? They’ve always been around-from the old world country tables to the new knock offs available on line and beyond. I know I’ve always appreciated them, but never more then now living here in Sonoma County Wine Country!

Mardi Gras-Happy Fat Tuesday!

I have never been to Mardi Gras, here or anywhere else, but I can tell you that I already love the Little Bits of Beauty™ found in the revelry, parades and most of all the amazing costumes, plumage and Venetian masks!

My mind is still stewing and chewing up all the information I can find on the Cultural Creatives; and, what kind of an impact can be made by many of us innovative thinkers on a very hard hit housing market here in the US and the world at large.
